Position: QA Duration: 3+ months Location: San Joes, CA The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including: test plan design and execution (Functional, Smoke, Integration Testing, UI and DB level tests, etc). The candidate will also be responsible for the testing of external and internal systems and web applications, ensuring that requirements are satisfied to specifications. Additional responsibilities include QA support during the development, testing, and launch phases of the software development and release cycle. * Analyze the business, functional and technical requirements for new and existing web applications and features to define test plans and test requirements, as well as, design and document test suites/cases * Execute functional, regression, smoke and integration tests; including ad hoc testing * Develop test frameworks for UI regression test automation and execute automation test suites * Follow project milestones; analyze and accurately report test results in a defect tracking system and via status reports * Coordinate with team leads to provide sign-off and review launch plans in preparation for release; including the configuration and maintenance of test and integration environments * Aid in executing best practices by mentoring other QA testers and knowledge sharing with the team Preferred Requirements: * experience with automated test tools (Jboss, JMeter, etc.) including automation test framework/object repository design with automation script coding and execution (Expert, VBScript) * Strong collaboration, multi-tasking, communication, documentation, reporting, analytic and problem solving skills * Experience with defect tracking systems and other software life cycle management tools including Quality -- Thanks & Regards Abhi --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
