Location: Hoffman Estate,IL Looking for 2 senior-level Java developers to assist in developing a framework to expose a core of eCommerce functionalities. Will work with development leads and architects to complete the project.
Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 7-10 years experience in developing applications. - Experience with JBoss, Struts, Spring, & MySQL are required. - Core competencies in Java, XML, HTTP, SOAP is required; experience with *eCommerce platforms such as IBM Websphere Commerce is a must. *- Deep understanding of web services software architectural and design issues. - Object Oriented Design and Programming, J2EE applications, tier components (JDBC, Servlets, JMS, JNDI, etc.), Java/J2EE design patterns, SOAP, Web Services and stand alone Java applications. - Works well in a team environment and able to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements. - Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus – especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code. - Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desired, but not required Skills/Experience: - Experience developing services to be utilized by external clients. Daily Responsibilities: Working in a team environment and taking direction from leads and architects.
