*Need a Sr. Oracle DBA with 10-15 years of experience and SME in Golden
Gate*

*Job Description *

Oracle Golden Gate Subject Matter Expert Role -  Must be very senior Oracle
DBA and have strong communication skills with hands on experience in oracle
database administration & troubleshooting for oracle 10g to 11g RAC using
ASM/non-ASM, clustering, data guard, Grid control, partitioning, Flash
back, RAC performance and tuning, VCS, replication technology - Golden Gate
and oracle streams including RMAN backup and recovery experience in
implementation of data replication using Golden Gate. This opportunity is
located in Waltham, MA for 1 year+.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities of **Oracle Golden Gate Subject
Matter*

·         Create new oracle database, implement data replication strategies
using Golden Gate

·         Ability to independently research problems and come up with
solutions

·         Drive critical incidents on bridge calls in front of customer and
global teams with strong communication skill

·         Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

*Required Skills for the **Oracle Golden Gate Subject Matter*



The candidate must have 10 - 15 years of experience and preferably master's
degree in computer information technology or equivalent degree.

·         Installation and configuration of Golden Gate

·         Troubleshoot Golden Gate replication issues

·         Apply database patch and Golden Gate patch

·         Monitor database replication using OEM grid

·         Good attitude and team player attitude

·         Take ownership on problems and do thorough analysis to prevent
happening again

·         Willing to work on weekends and off-hours as needed

·         Expert in troubleshooting performance related issue
