This resource would provide relief to work in flight as well as
supplementing the team's bench strength and ability to handle one-off
requests. Existing needs include:
Support for Rules and Values work:
Write monitoring queries for zero balance
Write monitoring query for TIN and Collateral Location Zip
Assist in FCL aging
Support for RDM operational processes and reporting:
Writing control queries for data integrity (bureau scores, etc.)
Write monitoring queries, if SMaRT can't do change monitoring (Fed Code,
Collateral Code, Purpose Code, NAICS, Address, Collateral zip, etc.)
Re-write monthly production queries
Complete HLTV process move from Access to SAS
Write monthly CRDB validation queries
Help with ad-hoc queries (Bank of Spain, Audit, etc.)
Reconciliation programming
Develop reusable code to combine and reconcile multiple datasets
(between varied core systems)
Create a reconciled repository of data and risk elements necessary to
support CCAR transactional reporting
Respond to changes in the regulatory reporting requirements by
dynamically modifying the reconciliation and repository
Building automated reports & extracts
Complete a review of all existing code used for recurring deliverables
for the purpose of refining reports confirming current applicability of
code and
Streamline our ability to establish "exit plans" for all ad-hoc reports
by creating self-contained reporting packages that can be handed off to
other units
*Required Skills:*
Must have at least 5 years of experience.
They will be automating things already created
Using Data mining
Pure SAS work-coding and automating. They are currently on V.9.3 of SAS
but they will consider v. 8 or higher.
The SAS programmer will need to handle the data and interpret the data.
They do it old school by coding completely, and doing it by hand opposed
to putting it together in a point and click environment. They must have
another hands on Coder here.
Some banking/finance knowledge would be good-just a plus
Should know how to automate things (reporting & data extraction) using
Micros. They must be able to use macros from scratch and fine tune.
Experience with scheduling is new and that would be a plus
They want a logical thinker
HLTV-High loan to value-manual
Needs to understand SQL Logic
