*_Detailed Job Description._* (Role: individual contributor)
The job will entail all aspects of deployment and usage of Wily
Introscope APM Tools. This engineer will help analyze, document and
deploy using a best practice strategy for usage of the APM tools and
interfaces to other Tools/Products. They will work with our business and
development partners to create clear concise business requirements for
monitoring needs, create designs, and write technical specifications to
meet those business requirements. This position will include creation
and testing of new custom instrumentation and/or visualizations of those
metrics (i.e.Dashboards, Alarms, Reports etc) before deployment into
production. This position will also support the managed servers of the
APM architecture as well as the agents and agent builds for the
applications. This position will participate in team reviews and will
adhere to standards developed within the team.
*Minimum Qualifications **10+ years technical experience in J2EE web
systems environments which*
includes web application installations, upgrades, and deployment as well
as any server/system that supports hosted web applications Strong
proficiency with CA Wiley Introscope Administration.
Demostrated knowledge and understanding of J2EE/Java concepts and
techniques.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience with at least one application server
(WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.).
Minimum of 6 years’ experience Systems Administration knowledge for
UNIX, Linux and Windows
Minimum of 6 Experience using and implementing CA Wily Introscope EM and
Agents Software
Demonstrated understanding of application architecture.
Demonstrated knowledge of databases, networks, and operating systems
Knowledge of Scripting with JavaScript, shell, Perl and python
