*SAP Basis Infrastructure Project Manager* *Location: Redmond, WA*
*End Date: 1/5/2018* *Salary Range: $70/Hr. C2C* *ONLY GC, USC* Primary duties include guiding team in administering global Infrastructure technologies such as: Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server SCOM SAP Basis System Monitoring EMC Storage Microsoft Windows Clustering SCOM Other duties include: Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills along with leadership and strong project management skills. Track and execute on multiple projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Develop and Document support processes for various level of Help Desk Present ideas and proposals for team review. Participate in efforts the implementation of proactive fault detection and capacity monitoring systems. Assist in configuration reviews to assure these systems quickly and accurately detect and mitigate incidents/problems through proper testing and maintenance. (i.e., CPU, Disk, Memory) Develop detailed plans for implementation of assigned infrastructu re projects, to include staffing, hardware, and software as well as detailed documentation. Identify support activities of all groups participating in each project. Help manage project progress and provide technical assistance as necessary to meet project deadlines. Ensure adherence to project schedules, IT standards/procedures, and user specifications/requirements. Coordinate project meetings. Prepare agenda and status reports, answer ad hoc questions, and provide guidance for project members. Qualifications This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for technology. In addition, the successful candidate should also have strong technical skills. The candidate will spend 25 percent of time technical and 75 percent PM work. Candidates must function well in a team environment. Candidates need to be well organized with a proven ability to think outside the box for technical solutions. They should also have experience communicating with many levels of technical, business, and management staff. Including experience communicating with executive staff to relay the status and/or issues associated with highly technical work in a manner that can be understood by non-technical management. The IT Infrastructure Engineer requires a minimum of seven years related IT experience. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field experience is preferred. Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, MCITP, MCTS) preferred; Windows 2008 or 2012. Requirements Six Sigma Black Belt Certification a Huge Plus PMP and ITIL certifications a plus Professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills Must be a self-starter, and not be afraid to challenge existing processes Must enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment. Ability to prioritize, track and execute on multiple projects.
