Description:

Our client is in need of an PP-PI/MM consultant who can support various
intitiatives over the next 6-9 months including MRP, MPS, Purchasing,
Production Planning, Production Execution, Inventory Management, Sales order
processing, Delivery creation and shipping. The righ candidate must have
thorough understanding of integration points between PP/MM/SD in terms of
planning, execution, material movements and associated financial postings.

The role will include facilitating migration of materials from commercial to
clinical plants with appropriate Procurement / Planning / Accounting related
data views.

In addition will need to analyze the GMPI system that is being used for
managing the procurement, inventory management, production and shipping
processes and work with the project team to migrate these functionalities to
SAP R/3 4.7 system.

Must have enough knowledge on how the PP/MM/SD integrates with FI/CO so that
impact on configuration and master data changes could be evaluated and work
with FI/CO experts to setup the system appropriately.

This consultant will assist users in UAT processing, Post-Implementation
Support and assume the role of secondary support in PP-PI/MM/SD functional
area

Experience:

Must have at least 6 years hands-on experience and expert knowledge in SAP
R/3 PP (PI), MM and SD modules with knowledge of its integration with FI/CO.


Must be able to configure the process order types, MRP settings, material
movements using movement types, account determination settings, sales
organizations, sales order types, pricing procedures, pricing conditions,
inventory control settings, material master, customer master, vendor master,
info records, source lists, master recipes, alternate BOMs, production
versions, resources and capacities

Must be able to understand the comprehensive business and user requirements
documentation that has already been prepared and finalized during the
discovery stage of the clinical supply chain project.

Must be able to independently work to map the SAP R/3 system solutions in
terms of configurations and any development objects (only if absolutely
necessary) to meet the business and user requirements in the functional
areas of production planning in process industry, materials management,
sales and distribution.

Must have knowledge and experience in defining new movement types,
configuring the account determination using condition techniques, to
differentiate clinical from commercial products.

Must have knowledge and experience in defining SD settings to differentiate
inventory and financial postings of clinical materials from commercial.

To accommodate proper postings of Inventory, Sales and COGS Account
Assignment configuration bridging new Finance requirements to SD and MM
modifications, such as new Sales areas, distribution Channels, Material
Movement types, Pricing Conditions.

Must have experience in developing user acceptance test (UAT) scripts,
performing unit test, assisting the users in completing UAT, documenting all
configuration, and development work and performing following activities
related to computer system validation and compliance.

Perform Unit Test.

Create/Modify FDS, DDS documents

Develop new OR change existing UAT scripts to adequately validate system
changes.
