Please find the Job description below and contact me at your earliest possible convenience. *Role: SQL Server DBA* *Duration: **6+ Months* *Location: Birmingham, AL* *Required* • 4+ years of SQL Server DBA experience • Experience with SQL Server Clustering, Mirroring, Always On Availability. • Experience in writing complex T-SQL queries. • Must be hands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DB tasks. • Experience in working on SQL Server 2008, 2012 and above. • Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills required. Must be able improve SQL performance. • Experience in handling databases involved in very high transactions/sec • Experience in working controlled environment, change control, and validated systems. • Experience in Microsoft BI Tools (SSIS/SSAS/SSAS). • Experience in backup and Recovery techniques. • Experience in promoting the application changes from lower environment up to Production. • Experience in deploying the SSIS packages, SSRS reports from one environment to other. • Experience in using PowerShell scripts would be an added advantage. • Experience in using the tools like SQL Sentry, precise i3 would be an added advantage.
