Monitor system health on daily basis including but not limited to checking the system logs, checking batch runs and producing needed daily reports. Participate in recurring operations meetings. Configure applications to work with patches/upgrades in Weblogic and databases. Provide client support and consultation. Provide support for feasibility analysis and estimation. Provide ad-hoc data requests and research questions. Participate in on-call rotations Application Development * * *MUST:* *BEA Weblogic 8.x, 9.2, 1 0.x, 10.2, 10.3* BEA Weblogic Portal *Object-Oriented design* skills: Java, JDK 1.4.x J2EE (JSP's, Servlet's, Tag Libraries, JSTL) XML, XML Schema, including modules, tiles & validation framework ANT Source Control (ClearCase, PVCS or similar tools) Minimum 5 years experience working on *web and JAVA applications*.
