Title: BOXI Architect Location: Northbrook, IL** Length: 2months w/ option for additional time Start: *ASAP* Interview: Phone Rate: *$OPEN + *plus expenses * * *Overview:* The Business Intelligence Architect will guide the strategic design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions*.* Client is looking for a Business Intelligence Architect who will be able to* Architect a BOXI and Oracle 11i OLAP (i.e., Express) BI Solution* *Requirements:* · Minimum 3-5 yrs business intelligence related experience, with complex data warehouses, business intelligence tools, and systems v *For Oracle OLAP:* § Assessment of cube structure and design, § Oracle cube features being used/not used, § provide performance tuning recommendations, § examine sparsity/density of dimensions, § review cube partitioning, etc. v *For BOXI*: § Review and assess universe design, folder design, security, scheduling, infrastructure, Xcelsius, auditing, etc. · Must have 1-2 prior project experience Assisting in establishing the organization warehousing strategy and selection of strategic warehousing tools and techniques* * o *Prior exp conducting a strategic evaluation (Proof of concept-POC) of the use of Business Objects XI * § Facilitate BI environment interviews § Lead a proportion of analytical needs, processes and issues interviews § Assist in preparation of material for review meetings § Assist in current state environment and gap identification process along with providing recommendations § Assist in the production of the final deliverable · This individual needs to be proficient with MS PowerPoint (tool for final deliverable). · Must have previous exp working with stakeholders and end users to gain insight and understanding of the use of the dashboard and drill down capabilities. · Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. · Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator · Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
