*Position description *



As an engineer working in *Software Defined Data Center Security* team, you
will be responsible for helping bring network security (Firewalls, IPSes,
DLP) products to the virtual world by designing, developing, and testing
virtual data path components.



*What He will do: *



Engage with internal and external teams to support and develop the
implementation of network data path components for security products in
Open Source and propriety virtualization products.

·         Contribute to open source projects.

·         Partner with engineering teams to take ideas from concepts to
market whilst also engaging and influencing other groups both internally
and externally to develop for the implementations and designs.



*Qualifications:*

Must have:

·         Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·         *5 years of relevant product development industry experience*.

·         *Experience in the software development for Linux platforms *

*·         Experience in low level networking including switch development
and TCP/IP.*

·         Proven track record of successful first time delivery of projects.



*Nice to have: *

·         Self-starting abilities with the potential to assume leadership
roles.

·         Ability to work well both independently and in a diverse team
environment.

·         Strong experience with languages such as C/C , Python, Shell
scripting.

·         Prior knowledge of OpenStack, XEN, VMWare or other virtualization
technologies

·         Prior knowledge of OpenVSwitch, OpenDaylight, SDN controllers.

·         Prior knowledge of Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
or Data Loss Prevention Systems (DLP)

·         Understanding of the software development process as whole and
prior experience of software development in open source communities.

·         Strong communication skills (oral & written) and demonstrated
ability to communicate at various levels of abstraction (concept to
details).
