The person who is chosen must be on site 5 days a week in Cranston, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will: • Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert • Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods by working through complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors • Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives • Be a self-starter and possess strong communication (both written and verbal) and leadership skills • Be a team player and work collaboratively with all stakeholders on the project • Have a strong consulting and customer satisfaction skills and strive to achieve established goals, objectives, and quality standards of the project • Adhere to established timelines and must have a strong focus on ensuring all deadline dates are met • Have working knowledge of Agile environments • Department of Motor Vehicle domain knowledge / expertise is a plus Responsibilities: • Participates as a member of development team or teams; may lead a small development team • Designs units for others; completes development to implement complex components • Contributes to design activities; may design solutions. • Develops independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews; may lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers • Designs, prepares and executes unit tests • Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (e.g. Web-site Development) • Applies HPE and 3rd party technologies to complex software solutions of moderate complexity • Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions complexity or services prepared by more senior technologists for more complex solutions • Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for clients • Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc): MUST HAVE Required Skills: • 5 - 7 years’ experience writing code using .Net • Experience with Agile Scrum • Advanced ability to work with Web-development tools for new applications • Advanced understanding of SQL • Advanced understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., Object Oriented) • Advanced understanding of modern SCM (Software Configuration Management) • Advanced understanding of testing tools, unit testing, integration test scripting, and testing methodologies • Advanced experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and development of tool add-ins • Strong understanding of basic database administration • Able to define quality and security standards • Exceptional verbal and written communication with clients and technical staff in English • General project management and team leader skills • Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team including client and vendor/supplier resources • Demonstrated technical leadership skills • Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty Optional Skills: • Department of Motor Vehicle domain knowledge / expertise is a plus * [image: logo] *Rohit Bhasin |* Module lead Recruiter | Apetan Consulting LLC Tel: 201-620-9700* |121| Fax:2015266869 | *Mail *: 72 van reipen ave pmb#255, Jersey City, NJ 07306| *Corp.
