We have this position for you, and I am looking forward to hear from you with your updated profile along with your comfort and availability about the requirement below*.* *Title: DevOps Consultant with **Open Stack * *Location: Herndon VA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Interview: Phone and Skype * *Responsibilities:* · Build, maintain and support IT infrastructure (Weblogic, Open Stack and Cloud Foundry). · Experience deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting the Open Stack application in a Cloud environment. · 7+ years' experience working in high transaction production environments following industry best practices for change, problem and incident management. · Troubleshooting cross-platform transactions in a distributed multi-datacenter environment. Ability to troubleshoot transaction failures within an application environment and determine root cause (e.g. Network, database, SAN, application, connectivity, etc.). · Drives issues through closure engaging all appropriate resources. Leads technical bridges and provides troubleshooting direction. Provides guidance and recommended solutions to complex technical issues. · Acts as an advocate for Engineering Operations procedures, policies, and processes. Ensures projects are fully integrated into the operations environment including lifecycle problem management from front line CARE through Engineering. · Creates data and metric systems to track operational workflows; maintains records of results and feedback. Analyzes data and metrics, identifies problem areas, and provides actionable insight to management. · Provides input to Engineering and vendors on defects and required enhancements. Attains all relevant industry standard technical certifications. · Performs complex and routine maintenance tests for designated areas of engineering. Identifies, isolates, and escalates issues to appropriate personnel. Ensures that all maintenance is properly validated to minimize subscriber impact to (ideally) zero. · Contributes to design considerations for new products or architectural changes to existing products. · Assists with or leads efforts to build new application infrastructure, coordinating efforts across teams. · Analyses problems in design, configuration, data flow, and data state within a highly complex multi-product provisioning system. *Technical Expertise:* · Experience with scripting for application support using Puppet, Python, Shell, Perl or similar languages. · Working knowledge of several continuous integration/automation tools Ansible, Chef, Jenkins and GOCD. · Experience deploying applications on the servers using a configuration management tool such as puppet, Ansible, etc. · Experience of OpenStack, Cloud Foundry or other Cloud computing and virtualization concepts. · Experience with system monitoring Nagios, Wily, AppDynamics. · Experience with Cloud technologies, Elastic Search, Fluentd, Couchbase, Kibana. · Experience with Build/Administer/Manage/Configure applications in Linux environment *ADDITIONAL REMARKS:* · This contractor/engineer is operating at a Senior/Principal level and must demonstrate technical knowledge of the new technologies that is at the commensurate level of compensation. · The contractor must be fluent with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Nginx, E-L-K and E-F-K stacks, and conversant with Apache, Oracle, and MySQL Databases. · Strong automator – experience in scripting languages like bash, or languages like python/perl/Django/java is highly desirable. · Experience with Ansible, puppet, AppDynamics, Nagios and CA Wily Introscope is a huge plus. · Must have experience in over 20MM daily transaction platforms with high visibility and availability. · Must be able to move quickly and triage issues with team work and collaboration within teams in the organization. · Performance testing analysis experience a huge plus. · The candidate must be familiar with network topologies and must have the ability to communicate/own projects. · This project (CIMA/SimCity/CXP/Einstein Widget Sales/Sales Portal) will require meeting with stakeholders in an Agile (Scrum) and DevOps methodologies, grasp the end to end flows operationally and understand immediate deliverables which are not limited to PCI scope, PII/SOX compliance, delivery of patches (both functional and product), liaising with vendors for all items related to support. -- *Regards,* *Padmanav Sahoo, * *Sr. Talent Aquisition Executive * *Phone: 248.565.4747-x-182 * *Email id: **psa...@tekshapers.com* <psa...@tekshapers.com>* Gtalk: * *padmanavsah...@gmail.com* <padmanavsah...@gmail.com> *Tekshapers Inc.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
