The SA functions in both pre-sales and post-sales capacity with broad horizontal skill sets and a core competency in Converged Infrastructure and Virtualization Technologies. SAs are competent in key areas such as solution design, implementations, operations, relationship building and client interaction. Responsibilities include understanding and evaluating current DC implementation and operations at client sites, and designing and implementing new solutions. Demonstrates experience in leading a team of technical experts while working with sales, delivery and support teams to analyze, design, troubleshoot, and implement converged and virtualized architectures and solutions in order to best meet client requirements, and follow best practices. Responsibilities - Demonstrate technical and advisory skills for customers, sales and other consultants, and effectively communicate the technical and business message - Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements - Work with Sales and Delivery teams to provide technical and business expertise - Provide other team members with in depth knowledge of new advances in converged infrastructure and virtualization -Develop and deliver in-depth and high-level technical presentations to customers and prospects - Actively leads a team of technical experts and participates in implementations, migrations, transitions and escalation support on projects Required Skills - Minimum 7 to 9 years relevant experience in design, implementation, support, operations and migrations in a datacenter environment with expertise in Converged Architecture, Virtualization, and Orchestration. - Must have architectural and implementation experience in core technologies like · Unix – Solaris, AIX, HP-UX · Windows, VMWare · Storage & Backup – EMC, Hitachi, HP, IBM, Symantec, etc. · Database – Oracle, SQL, Sybase · DC Network and Security – Cisco, Juniper, etc. - Must have the ability to work on multiple large scale projects - Must have hands on experience in virtualized environments - Must have hands on experience in converged architecture like Vblock or Flexpod or similar - Must have hands on experience in orchestration tools like vCAC, UCS Director, UIM etc -Must have a strong understanding of data center/cloud industry trends, products, solutions and architectures - Working knowledge of project management methodologies - Exceptional communications capabilities, giving presentations and public speeches - Must be a good leader able to motivate and mentor team members - Must be a solid team player with excellent analytical skills and a strong desire to continue learning and expanding skill sets - Bachelors in Computer Science, or Engineering Desired Skills - Certification in VCE Vblock, VMware or related will be a plus - Certification in TOGAF and/or ITIL will be a Thanks & regards, Anuradha (609) 910-1983 (W) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
