Job Title: Solarwinds Specialist Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 6+months
Overview: Primary role will be assisting a SolarWinds deployment project. Ideal candidates will have experience and skills with Solarwinds. This engagement will focus on investigating, documenting and migrating Network equipment, Linux, Solaris and Windows Servers to SolarWinds from existing monitoring platforms. Knowledge and experience developing SolarWinds monitors and alerts. Will be responsible for documenting the environment. Experience Required: Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and tuning the SolarWinds platform. Demonstrated experience creating, deploying and tuning monitors, alerts, views along with node management within the SolarWinds platform. Strong understanding of and demonstrated experienced with SNMP for Unix Servers and WMI for Windows Servers. Required Skills - Ability to work with technical teams of System and Network Administrators.
