2)Title: Software Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 12 months *Description:* •Cisco Component Quality and Technology (CQT) organization is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and deploy Python/Django/MySQL based algorithms/applications into production using Cloud architecture and/or connect these tools with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools such as Agile. •Understand internal stakeholder’s requirements to develop complex, highly scalable algorithms in Python. •Understand IT infrastructure (Cloud architecture) required to efficiently deploy algorithms as web applications and/or connect with the PLM tools. •Develop and maintain production level code at all times. •Query web based database and/or Agile database for internal stakeholders to perform analytics *Essential Skill Set:* •Ideal candidate shall have at least 3 to 5 years’ of experience developing and deploying highly scalable Python based applications using cloud infrastructure. •Deep understanding of cloud architecture is a must. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus. •Minimum 3+ years of experience in Python. •Minimum 3+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL/MSSQL/Postgres). Solid understanding of querying small to medium databases.
