He or she is responsible for building new databases and making requested changes, updates and modifications to existing database structure and data, in compliance with written company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. The DBA manages database backup and recovery infrastructure and regularly monitors and tunes the database for stability, performance and uptime that exceeds department SLAs. · This role will specifically focus on handling large non production Data Warehouse databases. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years work experience as an Oracle DBA. The candidate must have experience with Oracle RAC 11g, Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN and Oracle Utilities in UNIX environments. Additionally the candidate must have experience with configuration, sizing and space management, complex SQL tuning, diagnostics, and proficient with the use of Oracle's Enterprise Manager tool, must have experience opening, managing, and resolving Oracle TAR's.
