Position: *Automation Test Enginer with Oracle R12 or 11i* Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 8 Months *Finance IT:* *QTP Scripting , Quality Center, Oracle R12 Financials technical/functional expertise, Oracle PL/SQL* * * *WebEx-* The QA Engineer will be accountable for the quality of SAAS products. We are looking for a QA Engineer who has software product quality techniques, product assessment, with a track record of shipping great products, and is excited about working in a fast-paced software development cycle. Requirements: · Understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies and software development lifecycle, and apply this knowledge into daily operation · Ability to develop comprehensive test plan and test suites, and able to fully fulfill the listed criteria in test plan · Technical understanding of product features/functions, system integration in particular, use cases, core technology and architecture design, and with the ability to apply the knowledge to test planning and test execution · Ability in root cause analysis of issues, resolving testing issues, and driving issues to closure - 2-4 years experience in the high- tech software industries; experience working with established company preferred with experience in quality assurance - Ability to communicate effectively within team or cross other teams, strong English language skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skill and critical thinking abilities - Experience to overall web based testing in critical - 2-3 yrs of strong backend testing experience or E2E testing experience needed - 2-3 yrs of security testing, browser testing, and validation testing. - Exposure with DB testing will be plus - 1-2 yrs of testing exp on environments like WebLogic, J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL programming - Working experience in Quality Center Specific Responsibilities: · Participate in software design reviews, testing, configuration control, reporting and resolution, and change control · Work with QA Lead to set and evaluate milestone criteria to ensure released products are on schedule with high quality · Test the product through all phases of the development life cycle and focus in system integration with wide coverage in user scenarios · Review, maintain and improve current software test methodologies and processes · Optionally, automate a significant portion of testing -- Regards Shiv Javaji System Solutions Inc. v...@javaji.com (703) 463 9476 - Direct (703) 880 7232 - Fax Yahoo IM: siva_pkl -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
