*Immediate Interviews* Position: *Java Developer* Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 12 Months Rate: $55/hr. on C2C F2F after the Phone Screen *REQUIREMENTS:* 7+ years of enterprise-level Java application development programming experience 5+ years of experience using Struts and Hibernate. Enterprise-level Java application development programming experience utilizing Agile/Scrum processes. Java experience should include architecture, design, development, testing, build, implementation, and post-implementation support. Experience developing secure, high availability, interactive web applications. Proven experience in architecting and developing new, complex, interactive software and software enhancements Experience designing, managing, and executing the build and deployment of applications Excellent verbal communication skills. Proven customer service skills. Proven ability to write clear and concise technical documents. Proven ability to clearly document processes and procedures. Proven ability to complete tasks or project assignments with minimal supervision. Must be adaptable, flexible, organized, detail oriented, work well in a team environment, and have a strong drive for success. Practical experience and knowledge of most of the following technologies and tools: Unix, Java: Struts, Servlets, EJB, JSP, JUnit, Hibernate, JDBC, Web Services, Log4j, SQL - preferably Oracle, Web: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, jQuery, JSON, Ajax, IBM MQ. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience) Sun Java Certification Experience in the following technologies and tools: Unix scripting, RAD, Synergy, Maven, Ant, HP Quality Center/ALM, Control-M, WebSphere, Clarity and Remedy. Experience with use story/use case based design. *Responsibilities: * This position is a contractor opening and will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, debugging, and supporting computer software that resides and is executed in a J2EE environment. The developer must consider the following competencies when performing their work: customer focus, drive for success, teamwork, effective communication, and innovation. Essential Job Responsibilities? Participates as a high technical expert in design, development, coding, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software.?
