*Sr. Business Intelligence platform Architect* # Of Positions: 1 Location: Pleasanton, CA Duration: 12+months *Travel Requirements: Yes Travel 5%* *Position Summary* This individual will be responsible for design and implementation strategies for BI platform projects and implementation of BI best practices within the IT development organization. *Required Skills:* Total 8+ years of experience in IT with 5+ years of experience as an architect or lead BI developer in large-scale, complex BI environments, with numerous data sources, BI applications, and thousands of users. Experienced in *Micro strategy and Tableau*. Experience in *SSRS and/or SAS* would be a plus. Must have implemented several full life cycle BI projects. Experienced in designing *BI Frameworks for enterprise level* BI projects. Must know best practices of each of the above BI tools. Well versed in understanding logical/physical database design including SQL on MPP platforms such *as Netezza and/or Teradata.* Experience deploying *Micro strategy Enterprise Manager *and* Integrity Manager*. Micro strategy Mobile a plus. Proven ability to understand & transform business requirements into high level solution blueprints for BI projects. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Familiarity with Hadoop platform and Toolset is a plus but not required. Experience in *cable or another telecommunications service provider* is a plus. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience. Master's degree (M.
