Update requirement details : Role: C/C++ Programmer Location:- Houston TX Position Type:- Contract 6-12 months Rate:- get me market rate ASAP Work Locations: Palo Alto , CA or Houston , TX ( Candidate should be open for both these locations ) Description is below. Requirements: At least 5 years of industry experience writing system-level code in C and C++ is required. At least 2 years of experience with video coding standards, in particular Mpeg4 and H.264, is also required. We prefer individual(s) with previous experience writing wrappers for OpenMAX IL as well as experience with other media pipelines such as gStreamer or Microsoft DirectShow. Previous experience with webOS would be an advantage. We need a software interface between our proprietary media pipeline in webOS and the OpenMAX IL interface that controls a variety of media devices and codecs. The work will be considered complete when it passes a set of acceptance tests that we will provide.
