We need a Data Architect for St Paul, MN. All these projects are done in
the capital city of each state. Here is an overview:
Duration – approx. 1 year
Location – St Paul, MN
Interview process – they will hire from a phone screen. Depending on who
they can get on the phone, it could be one step, and sometimes 2.

The Infrastructure Architect works in a Service-Oriented Architecture
(SOA)-driven organizational framework and provides solutions-based
technical infrastructure expertise for various projects. This role is
responsible for advising on the technical direction of projects and using
knowledge to assist in delivering technically-sound solutions. The
Infrastructure Architect will:
· Use depth of knowledge across various technical subject matter
areas to create requirements-driven solutions that are aligned with
business needs, objectives and goals
· Identify and implement strategic plans for integrating products
from multiple vendors and product suites in a complex enterprise
infrastructure
· Design computer systems, networks, applications and interfaces
· Analyze and deconstruct requirements to communicate them to diverse
technical teams such as programmers, integrators, and developers for design
implementation
· Provide guidance on technical processes and oversee IT activities
to track progress and ensure that projects tasks are complete efficiently
and correctly
· Review and analyze current corporate technical environment and
recommend ways to improve technical and business processes; provide input
for IT strategic pans and technology roadmaps
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in meetings, conference
calls, webinars and other forms of communication; collaborate with project
management team to align technical activities with project plans, scope and
timeframes
· Identify risks and complexities as well as develop mitigation
strategies
· Develop scope of work and supporting documentation, to include
conceptual solution options, diagrams, and workflows to support a
compelling solution
· Create and maintain documentation of design implementation
· Understand and leverage industry best practices
· Maintain industry/technical knowledge base and facilitate/maintain
industry relationships
· Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service
· Support assigned systems with on-call availability and respond
within agreed upon timeframes
· Perform other duties, based upon experience
