Position: SAP HCM Functional Consultant Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 1year The resource will work closely with the SAP Applications Management Services (AMS) Delivery Manager, onsite AMS production support team, Account Leadership and the Client to support the SAP HCM system, and will be responsible for ongoing production support including break-fix, support and minor enhancements, analyzing business requirements, analyzing functional specs and creating functional configuration deliverables, and providing functional support for technical teams performing development work, testing the solution as well as supporting the solution. The candidate must have strong SAP HCM functional knowledge in areas of PA, OM, Benefits and Payroll, including exposure to HCM technical components for reports, interfaces, enhancements, etc. The resources will provide HCM functional expertise within the SAP HCM module. Individual must have in-depth functional knowledge of the HCM module and how it relates across the application. Very Important - Heavy specialization in Payroll functionality (requirements, configuration, testing) •Application Development as it applies to HCM, ability to analyze requirements and perform functional configuration or provide functional specifications to technical teams •Application Maintenance •Break/Fix •Business Consulting •Mission Critical Solution Design •System Integration •Experience with requirements analysis, application design, construction, testing strategies •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities •Strong experience with supporting US clients (especially US SAP payroll) is critical •Experience in SAP ERP 6.0 •ERP/IT standards knowledge •Strong experience in business knowledge and functional configuration in PA, OM, Benefits, Payroll, TM, ECM, ESS, MSS •Actual Client Facing Experience - minimum 2 yrs •PROFESSIONAL, Strong Communication skills (Verbal and written) •Ability to work independently with little direction but also works well with teams •Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing requirements •Excellent at Multi-tasking •US Citizen or Green Card •Additional experience in other areas such as Employee Compensation Management, Travel Management, ESS/MSS, etc. is a plus. •Strong preference to have HCM functional + technical background.
