*Application Support Engineer - Level IV (Mainframe Systems Support Engineer)-30863* *Description*** ** *Location: MA* *Rate $ 50/Hr* ** *Summary:* Looking for an individual contributor with the right technical expertise to become a member of a team that supports mainframe and distributed infrastructure/applications. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of technical experience. You will be part of a team of professionals that are responsible for the upgrade, stability and availability of our trading systems and applications. *Responsibilities:* - Bloomberg - testing, schedules installs, issue resolution (application/printer issues), packaging, monthly updates) - Market Data - support of all Market Data applications within FCM (Bloomberg, Smart Loan, FactSet, etc….). - Provide application and system environment support to business and systems development areas across several different platforms(Windows, Unix, Mainframe) - Identification, isolation, and resolution of production and non-production system problems, service requests and support processes. - Respond to customer service requests and provide production support coverage. - Manage application and system infrastructure patch releases, including enhancements to current system functionality. - Assist with incident and problem management. *Qualifications*** - Strong knowledge preferred of mainframe MVS operating system, CICS, TSO, TMON, VSAM, TSO etc. - Scripting or automation knowledge a plus - Strong sense of ownership and willingness to take responsibility/accountability. - Proven analytic and troubleshooting skills with Bloomberg and Reuters - Strong service-oriented focus and a passion to achieve results. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment *Primary Location*** MA-Boston Thanks & Regards... ...
