*Work Location* San Francisco, CA *Special Instructions* NA *Client : INFOSYS- rate 50.00 USD per hour on C2C, 6+ Months of contract.* *Job Description* Detailed JD: ETL Tester ü Analyzing the business requirements , functional data requirements and co-relating each other ü Analysis and understanding of data mapping requirements ü UNIX/LINUX/Autosys batch job analysis ü Working with Business analysts, data analysts, data modelers and ETL tech leads to clarify and understand the data requirements , data model requirements and batch job requirements ü Create test strategy and test plan documents ü Create test cases for ETL validations/exhaustive data comparison validations etc., ü Understand and evaluate the need to implement DWT accelerating tools like DVO for data comparison across heterogeneous databases/systems ü Ability to define and articulate test approach for 1. Tables vs tables data comparison 2. File vs Table data comparison 3. Table vs Table data comparison when source and target tables are present on different heterogeneous databases ü Participate in test review and project review meetings. ü Good hands on experience on Informatica power center. ü Ability to execute test cases, determine root cause in case of batch/ETL logic failures and coordinate with dev teams for fix, defect retesting etc., ü Knowledge of test management tools like QC, HP ALM etc., ü Co-ordinate with downstream applications during E2E testing ü Co-ordinate and work with business partners during UAT phase ü Creating test summary/results/closure documents ü Documenting the lessons learnt by the end of every project Note: We appreciate not to see any rejects at screening stage due to poor quality.
