Please find the below Job description and let me know your interest. *Position: ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> Developer * *Location: Palo Alto, CA* *Duration: 9 Months Contract* *Need Locals to CA Only* **Must Haves** *8+ years of backend system development* *6+ years of C# ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>* *Angular is a plus* The Senior ASP.Net Developer would be responsible for web application development. The resource would be a hands-on developer writing code for the application and will also enhance the application that is in Production. The resource would be leading the efforts to design, architect, integrate, develop, enhance and support the web application. The resource should be a self-starter, willing to learn new technologies and perform with minimal supervision. *Required skills and experience* • Prior experience in development and maintenance of portal applications and its integration (web services, WCF, etc.) with multiple modules • Proven track record of web application development leveraging various .Net technologies including but not limited to ASP.Net, C#, IIS, SQL Server, etc. • Experience with usage of Team foundation server. • Strong experience in developing highly functional Web 2.0 interfaces using the latest AJAX technology, preferably with jQuery, CSS3, Bootstrap and Angular. • Experience with Angular is a must. • Strong experience of database design/development using Microsoft SQL Server including but not limited to data model, stored procedures, triggers, DTS, SSRS etc. • In-depth knowledge of web architectures, technologies and development techniques • Strong knowledge of design patterns and development best practices, including agile methodologies • Prior experience in analyzing/resolving performance issues and refactoring design/code for scalability of large application would be a plus *Nice to have* • Experience with Angular 2. • Experience with SASS. *Qualifications:* • 8+ years hands-on experience in the IT/software development industry with specific focus on web application development • 6+ years of Object Oriented web application design and development using .Net technologies • Demonstrated ability to work with teams in a contributor or lead role. • Ability to estimate software development tasks given a set of requirements and assumptions. • Must possess experience, knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle management, tools, and cross-functional activities • Experience in a large, complex organization or corporate structure environment • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Must be able to work in stressful situations *EDUCATION:* • Candidate must possess a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
