*Duration: 6-months* * * *Systems Support Admin* Four+ years of experience in system monitoring tools and agent configuration and administration. Preferred experience in Unicenter NSM and/or EMC IONIX (Smarts) monitoring products. Special consideration given to those candidates with working experience of the Hyperic monitoring product. Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of system monitoring products. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, network devices, other hardware and software applications. Troubleshoot monitoring system issues, resolve, and implement solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures. Implement software patches and updates as needed. Participate in the implementation of system monitoring components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot monitoring systems. Must possess solid knowledge of operating systems and networking hardware and software. 4+ years of experience functioning in a Monitoring Systems Administrator capacity is required. Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of implementing monitoring agents for one or more monitoring products. Skills listed in order of importance (1-3) below. 1. Hyperic 2.
