Summary Role centered on the implementation of Project Accounting in 11i. The position will require the development of custom solutions/extension Oracle Applications 11.5.1.0.2 environment (10g RDBMS). Past Project Accounting (Costing) experience is an absolute must as is STRONG PL/SQL. In addition to developing, the candidate will need to roll into a QA Analyst roll once development is complete. Modules implemented: PA, AP, PO, INV Duties and Responsibilities Work Management: Analyze, design, develop and document code to process job costing data including burdening in Oracle Projects 11i Modules and then interface this to GL for adjustments and legacy cost and reporting systems. Analyze, design, develop and document code to build interfaces between Oracle Projects 11i Modules and legacy system in order to transfer customer and project information Analyze, design, develop and document code to convert project data, project cost data, and project customer data from the client’s legacy systems into Oracle Projects modules Fix all bugs identified during data conversions process for Customers, Projects and Cost Conversions Analyze, design, develop and document code to implement the client’s customized approach to a unique identifier from current use of town, costumer and contract number to a future use in Oracle Projects of project, organization, expenditure type and task. Analyze, design, develop and document code to modify existing client custom reports in Oracle and other legacy systems in order to accommodate the greater length of the project, organization, expenditure type and task unique identifier. Review and analyze all required and existing client and Oracle Project projects documentation including but not limited to business requirements, MD 50s, MD 70s and Oracle technical bulletins, emails and Oracle TAR documents. Review and analyze current and future business process in order to design and develop project Oracle Projects RICE objects Execute technical tests and document all test results for all developed and modified code. Complete all code development using SQL, SQL Plus, Logical APPS, Reports 6i, and Oracle Framework. Execute test plans to regression test base PA Release Develop test plans to regression test base for PA Release Work with the business analysts and developers to regression test customizations and extensions for PA Release Ability to execute SQL queries to validate data and ensure the integrity of transactions involving 11i base schema and client custom schema. Execute test plans for the Verification of data before and after purging Coordination of QA activities for PA Release Provide and prepare all needed technical documentation, specifications and by resource during its assignment with the client. Utilize client approved hardware and software, and abide by client IT and business policies. Abide to all client processes and policies with their associated tools where applicable, i.e. using PPM for weekly timesheets. Document analysis, testing, solution, and user aids utilizing Microsoft Office tool set Provide daily and weekly progress reports as to issue progress and resolution Provide and prepare all needed technical documents, specifications and code during assignment with the client. Attend all required meetings and provide time estimates for all assigned and required tasks Utilize client approved hardware and software, and abide by client IT and business policies for their use. Abide to all client processes and policies in regards to access, tools, roles and responsibilities such as using PPM for weekly timesheets.
