I NEED SENIOR CANDIATES ONLY.* * * *KEY: Worked with Oracle Apps or Oracle & Java Technologies. MUST BE expert in QTP, QC and Load Runner. This candidate will work on ERP applications.* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* The Quality Assurance Analyst will assist the successful completion of implementation projects by developing and implementing system tests, using HP/Mercury tools to test applications prior to and during launch. In addition, the Quality Assurance Analyst will be involved in reviews of requirements, test cases, and other project artifacts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Assist Project Manager and Test Team Lead. · Work closely with the project managers, system administrators, and development teams during the development, test, and launch phases of the software development and release cycle. · Review functional and design specifications · Develop test strategies/test plans · Design, develop, and manage automated test scripts and suites. · Test applications including integration, load, performance (functional and transactional between systems), and regression · Verify results on supported platforms · Perform database queries to validate test data · Review data flow across multiple systems · Report and track defects, and work closely with Developers and Operations in defect resolution · Assist IT Engineers/Administrators to troubleshoot issues during and after launches · Recommend instrumentation and performance counters on existing applications for better monitoring and maintenance · Assist project managers with UAT functions and analyze results. *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:* · 8+ years software quality assurance testing and/or development experience · 4+ years creating and executing test plans and test scripts · 4+ years web based testing · Strong organizational and communication skills · Communicating product readiness, level of quality, and results to the project team. · Proven ability to review product specifications and documentation · Strong understanding of all aspects of the QA role, and all areas of application testing · Strong XML, HTML and SQL experience · Capacity for attending to details · Ideal candidates will have: - Bachelors with emphasis on CS, or equivalent experience - Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and testing Web Services - Strong Windows background with some Unix - Experience with defect tracking systems and other software life cycle management tools - Experience with Quick Test Professional (QTP), Quality Center, and Load Runner. · Strong interpersonal skills, including effective oral and written communication *-Looking a head to hear from you* * * Please send the updated resume of the consultant to* r...@nihaki.com *along with the rate, location and contact information.
