This posting is for a senior position with 7-9 years of Application (Developement) DBA experience. The DBA should be able to quickly grasp the business logic and business processes and have excellent problem solving skills. The DBA must have excellent communication and documentation skills. The person will be interacting with DBA team lead and Team manager to provide updates and status Qualifications: 1. Experience with Oracle 11g databases and feature set. 2. Knowledge and Experience in Logical and Physical Data Modeling. Develop the Logical and Physical Data Models by working with the application and business teams. 3. Strong Knowledge of Oracle Architecture and database design 4. Oracle Design tools such as ER Studio (real plus) 5. Strong Database Performance Tuning Skills. 6. Strong Database Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution skills. 7. Understanding of object oriented design 1. Experience with Oracle Replication , Dataguard setup 2. Good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting. 3. Must Possess Strong SQL and PL/SQL Development skills. 4. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Other Preferred Skills: 1.
