Position : Oracle functional CRM/FI Consultant Location : San Diego, CA Duration : 1-2 months
Oracle Specialist with minimum 5-7 years experience. You will be part of an in-flight project which involves two parts: converting existing business from Oracle to SAP and merging an acquisition that runs on Oracle to SAP platform. Your role will be as the Oracle lead focused on conversion, gap/fit analysis, data mapping, and facilitating business requirements. Strong understanding of Oracle is a plus along with good communication and leadership skills. Required Oracle Skills: Project experience, including leading small to medium projects Strong business analysis skills Capability to partner with the business and jointly develop technology enabled solutions Strong configuration skills Preference will be given to candidates with business process and Oracle experience in the following areas: Experience in the medical devices, biotech, healthcare or Pharma industries Experience with validated systems Business experience and or proficiency with business process design Experience in data conversions and mapping Other Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years Oracle experience At least two full life cycle implementations Strong organizational and planning skills Self-starter, ability to "hit the ground running" Excellent written and oral communication and the ability to communicate effectively with both non-technical business users and technical IT developers. Job Level Specific Duties Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties. Implements systems applications and tests end-user processes. Creates / delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end user training. Responds to client inquiries involving application questions. Develops customized queries and reports utilizing complex table matrices. Interacts with clients, internal and external, acting as a key liaison between business and technology areas. Documents business rules / functional requirements to support system enhancements. Oversees external product vendors performance and collaborates on future system enhancements. Typical Years of Experience Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience. Minimum Education and Certifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Skills Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture. Solid analytical / problem solving skills. Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective. Strong influencing and excellent communication skills. Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources. Strong client service attitude. Strong organizational and time management skills. Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions Ability to physically perform general office requirements. Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
