Please let me know your interest. *Senior Hadoop Integration Engineer* *Location: Burlington, MA* *Duration: 6+ months* *Can interview on the phone and Skype if not local* *Requirements: * · BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field · 8-10 years of software engineering experience in roles with increasing responsibility · 2-3 years of experience writing and deploying Hadoop jobs, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in participating in Agile-based development projects · Passionate about providing exceptional support to customers, and have a solid track record of working directly with customers in a support role · Solid knowledge of Hadoop architecture and ecosystem (Namenode, Datanodes, jobtracker, task trackers, Oozie, Scribe, Hue, Hive, Pig, Flume, Hbase, etc.) · Strong Java programming skills, plus one scripting language like Python, Ruby, or Perl · Solid experience writing, deploying, testing, and debugging MR jobs and ETL workflows · Strong understanding of complex network topologies, encryption, and key management implementations · Hands on experience leading complex integrations between AWS services (EMR, EC2, S3) and distributed legacy data centers, in both R&D and HA production environments · Hands on experience validating new solutions and working with customer engineering teams to assist with their validation cycles · Successful experience over multiple customer engagements in providing best in class support, including exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English · Relational database experience in Oracle or MySQL · Strong Linux experience, including complex shell scripting · Organized, good attention to details, and able to work both independently and closely with other team members · Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and emerging requirements *Thanks & Regards* *Dev Chauhan* *International Technical Solutions (ITS)* D: 206-497-5925, 206-274-4684 F: 206-319-4579 dev.chau...@i-tecsol.com <himanshu.kak...@i-tecsol.com> Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
