Location:Detroit, MI Duration: 6 Plus Months Rate: $48/Hour C2C SAS DEVELOPER SAS Data Specialist - Ford Credit Risk IT: ¿Responsible for creation of daily analytical files. ¿Single point of contact for Risk data questions (mainframe, Teradata, SAS). ¿Manage all data issues, status, resolution and coordination. ¿Interface with vendors for new data. ¿Manage analytics test Teradata environment. ¿Create/improve analytics testing processes/environments (e.g., data mart, KBS). ¿Develop and ensure common practices. ¿Document processes and data relationships. ¿Work closely with Risk business partners, EDW, and DBAs. ¿Adhere to all security and control, change control and other supporting Ford Credit processes. ¿May be required to work weekends, provide off-hour support, and/or carry pager Skills Required: B.S. in Computer Science or related field. ¿Experience in database design with transactional or analytical databases. Strong knowledge and experience in SQL and associated tools; DB2 and Teradata are preferred; however Oracle or SQL Server experience will be considered. Knowledge of Linux. Fluent in SAS programming. ¿Experience with DataStage. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. ¿Demonstrated ablity to document complex systems and data relationships. Able to multi-task and be flexible to respond to changing priorities. ¿Ability to communicate effectively with technical personnel and business partners. ¿Strong testing discipline. ¿Able to function well as a team member, as well as, work independently on assignments. Motivated professional (results oriented and self-starter). MVS and TSO/SPF Mainframe skills. Skills Preferred: COBOL, JCL, and CA7 Mainframe skills. Knowledge of Collections and Originations. Knowledge of SAS tools. Experience Required: 5+ years SAS and SQL experience. 1+ years DataStage Experience Preferred: COBOL, JCL, and CA7 Mainframe skills. Knowledge of Collections and Originations.
