The Quality Assurance Analyst is a member of the product development team and is responsible for testing and quality of the software delivered by the team. Typical tasks required of a QA Analyst include: the analysis of functional and technical design documentation, the creation and execution of test plans and test cases, the identification of front-end and back-end software issues, and the documentation of test results and communicating them to the development team. The QA Analyst is expected to have basic technical skills as well as the ability to become a product expert, learning and applying the market/business rules that the product supports. The QA Analyst reports to the product Development Manager. Education and/or Experience – List the minimum level of education and/or experience required to perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.
