Responsibilities: Create a test plan that includes a functional risk based testing approach for regulated (validated) computer systems. Oversee creation of the deliverable documents by offshore contractors and answer their questions. Review the deliverables before presenting them to the client project team and BTQ&C Business Partners for approval. Deliverables to be created include Requirements Specifications, Test Plans, Test Scripts, Data Migration Plans, Test Summary Reports, Declaration of Validation Memo, and Compliance Reports. Additional documents that may also be worked on are System Periodic Reviews, Deviations, and CAPAs (Correction Action and Preventive Actions). Provide metrics and status reports as directed for reporting to management. Experience: Four+ years experience in computer application test engineering, developing and executing test cases, test tools, and test suites, including lead roles with some project management. Pharmaceutical industry experience highly desirable. HP Quality Center experience preferred, but not required. Excellent English communications ability both verbal and written. A demonstrated career commitment to testing and/or quality assurance is preferred. The candidate should show familiarity with computer system testing theory and practice, and be able to discuss applying the ideas in previous positions. An understanding of a risk based approach is desirable. B.Sc. in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, or two additional year’s experience, or tester certification.
