This is in reference to the following position. ***** Please find below job description if you feel comfortable please revert with updated resume, Rate and contact details ASAP ***** Job Title: Project Manager with SharePoint Job Location: Cleveland OH Job Duration: 6 Months Plus Client: Hexaware Technology’s Job Summary: The Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the key programs and projects and/or is directly responsible for building and managing the functional group (project managers, business analysts, technical lead, application engineers, and transition managers) that are part of the specific program Delivery functional team. The Project Manager will also have responsibility to provide local management of contract resources that are part of the engagement *Essential Functions of the Job:* • 15 years’ experience managing large enterprise based application delivery projects. • Proven success in multiple year million+ enterprise program engagement. • SharePoint 2013 implementations experience is critical • Strong project and program management experience needed • Adopt and follow standard methodologies, processes and tools • Provide oversight and/or project management, business analysis and transition management on each project • Support customer portfolio managers in discussions with customers about demand • Support the development of the business case with the customer team, including leading on the solutions estimate • Estimate project scope, budget and timeline for customer portfolio managers - this should be carried out in coordination with other groups such as Application Engineering and Quality Assurance when appropriate • Contribute solutions knowledge to Enterprise Architecture (EA) application and infrastructure roadmaps • Deliver solutions in accordance with EA, making optimal use of shared resources (e.g. co-sourcing, code re-use, enterprise tools, operational systems and data stores) • Evaluate and identify potential redundant applications, infrastructure and tools • Provide level four incident and problem management support for enterprise applications Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: • Identify and manage complex issues, preventing escalations, and managing through escalations where necessary • Perform business case analysis and create meaningful project estimates • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the EY competency principles and practices, including the ability to coach and teach • Think strategically and identify opportunities for optimization • Identify challenges and propose meaningful solutions • Team player who is also willing to lead • Develop key relationships across the IT Services organization, including: o Customer Portfolio (Demand) o Application Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering (Design, Architect, Build) o Quality Assurance (Test) o Enterprise Architecture and Strategy (Roadmaps, Standards, EA Fit) o Program Office (Resource Planning) • Operate as a self-starter and with minimal supervision on Supervision Responsibilities: The SharePoint Project Manager manages the team, business analysts and transition managers, application engineers, (typically 10 - 20) individual contributors and/or contractors). *Frequency of Supervisory Contact:* • Supervisory contact: The SharePoint Project Manager is expected to conduct regular 1:1 briefings with the Solutions Delivery Lead on an on-going, regular basis. SharePoint Program Managers are expected to conduct effective 1:1 briefings that provide a high-level overview of project health, accomplishments, issues, action items, and assistance needed • Supervisory communication and managing escalation: SharePoint Program Managers are expected to synthesize and communicate project and business issues on an on-going basis, manage the Solutions Delivery Lead’s awareness of major issues, and help to prevent escalations, where possible. *Supervising Others:* • The SharePoint Project Manager is expected to conduct ongoing, regular 1:1 meetings with his/her team members and on-going, regular team meetings to communicate project health, accomplishments, issues, action items, and assistance needed. • The SharePoint Project Manager has direct responsibility for the work stream of project managers, business analysts and transition managers, which includes assigning and prioritizing work activities, managing issues and escalations, customer relationship management, performance review, creating a positive, productive team environment, and informal mentoring/coaching activities. • Empowerment/thought leadership: The SharePoint Project Manager is empowered to exercise sound judgment and encouraged to make clear decisions on project issues, managing customer relationships, delivering value, providing leadership and guidance to direct reports, and partnering with peer team members. *Qualifications* *Knowledge and Skills Requirements:* • Excellent management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Good understanding of the customer strategy, services and business processes • Ability to work and team effectively with other Solutions groups and other management personnel • Ability to work with globally dispersed project teams • Excellent grasp of working within global professional services context • High degree of tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment • Demonstrated project and/or program management experience • Vendor management experience • Experience managing teams of project managers, business analysts and transition managers • Understanding of formal project management, business analysis and service transition methods and tools • Very good understanding of application and Infrastructure landscapes • IT strategy and IT infrastructure optimization experience • Good exposure to/experience in large scale enterprise programs – SharePoint 2013 knowledge is critical • Good understanding of key performance indicators relevant for the role • Excellent program and project management tactical skills • Some experience in financial management, including budgeting and cost comparison for the relevant services • Ability to manage Up (Executive/Senior Management), Down (Direct Reports), and Across (Peer Groups, Stakeholders, etc.) *Experience:* • 15+ years in a corporate IT environment •10+ years experience in project management or related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure) • Vendor Management skills in an off-shore engagement model are critical for this role • Work experience in a professional services industry preferred • Prior experience leading an enterprise level application deployment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, MS SharePoint) *Education:* • A degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience • Project management certification is preferred (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2) • Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous *Other Requirements:* • National and international travel may be required *Thanks & Regards* *Mike Michon*, Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc., Ensuring Client's Success Ph: 630-315-9541 Fax: (630) 206-2397 Email: *mike_mic...@aesinc.us.com* <mike_mic...@aesinc.us.com> Web: *www.agilees.com <http://www.agilees.com>* Gtalk/YIM:" mikeagilees " Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
