Job Title : Business Analyst
Location : Tallahassee, FL
ASAP : 1+ year
Rate : $40/Hr on C2C
Responsibilities:
a.. Works closely with the Manager and Coordinator to review all application
maintenance requests, including working with the customers to correctly
scope/size the request;
b.. Coordinates with the Coordinator to draft/assess maintenance requests and
to identify the correct resource(s) required and to estimate the effort
associated with the requests;
c.. Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA
standards for software development, application integration, and information
system performance, and corresponding documentation;
d.. Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal
application performance according to specifications;
e.. Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define
business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and
identify and resolve systems issues;
f.. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Requirements:
a.. Experience as a business analyst on software development/maintenance
projects (5+ years);
b.. Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of
software and hardware solutions, systems, or products;
c.. Experience with Quality Control, Testing, and/or Validation of
large-scale software development projects;
d.. Experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and
reporting software;
e.. Experience with Agile development practices, specifically SCRUM
(Preferred).
