Please go through the requirement and let me know your interest. *Windows CE Developer * *Location: **Mossville, IL* *Duration: 1 Year+* *Rate: $50/Hr* *Job Description / Responsibilities * · The position is a software engineer to support Machine Automation & Safety Systems development for Caterpillar machines. · The position is responsible for the development of Windows CE software applications. *Expected Experience * · Programming Language: *Embedded C++ Programming* Library: *Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC)* Operating System (OS): *Microsoft Windows CE* *Required Skills / Qualifications (skills or background required to do the job) * · Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science and *4 years of software development experience on Windows CE with MFC*. Experience with multithreading and object-oriented analysis and design methodologies is required. · Experience with CAN communications protocol is required. Good teamwork, communications and analysis (troubleshooting) skills are required. · The individual should demonstrate initiative and motivation. · Experience with Inter-process communication (IPC) Experience with SendMessage (blocks) vs PostMessage (asynchronous) Experience with one or more of the following Thread synchronization objects Critical section Event Mutex Semaphore Experience with Graphical user interface (GUI) Experience with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) · Desired Skills / Qualifications (skills or background that is "nice to have" to do the job) · A general understanding of Cat Electronics systems and components.
