OBIEE Architect and developer - Birlasoft This a “hands-on” role and will include responsibilities for the design, development, deployment and ongoing support of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE, formerly Siebel Analytics) supporting a large Siebel 8.0 CRM Field Service application environment integrated with Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS Financials). The BI Solutions Architect will be engaged in the entire Information Delivery lifecycle from definition of BI strategy through on-going support. Candidates must have broad experience with the various aspects of a successful and dynamic Business Intelligence Information Delivery program and well-developed skills with the required tools. This experience must include Data Warehouse architecture design and development, ETL from multiple varied data sources, design of hierarchies, dimensions, and aggregates, as well as the development of the presentation layer via reports, metrics, and dashboards. This role involves significant interaction with all levels of the business organization (both technical and non-technical) to gather business requirements, evaluate concepts, and present solutions. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills are required. *Qualifications*** - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology. - Minimum of 5 years of experience with Siebel CRM and Oracle EBS with strong emphasis on Siebel Analytics/OBIEE, RPD, and Analytics Data Warehouse. - Strong working knowledge and experience with ETL tools. Informatica preferred. - Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence tools including Impromptu, Powerplay, Transformer, and Cognos 8.0 Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Metrics Studio is a plus. - Complete understanding of data warehouse architecture, normalized/denormalized, star schemas, snowflakes. - Analytical, detail oriented, organized, creative thinker and problem solver. - Demonstrated ability to function in a lead role, enlisting the cooperation and support of other team members, while also being a strong individual contributor. - Desire and ability to share knowledge and develop skills in other team members. - Ability to be effective in a fast paced environment, adapt easily to changing priorities. - Self-starter, self directed, able to work in a structured or unstructured environment. Technical Lead - .NET, SQL Server Bridgewater, New Jersey 6+ Months *Responsibilities :* The Subject Matter Expert, Sharepoint Integration, is responsible for the technologies mainly involved in the collaboration oriented applications environments. *Job Description ** *•Coordinates physical changes to MS SQLServer databases; codes, tests, and implements physical databases. •Create new database instances. Implement requested schemas modifications. Implements logical and physical tablespace and databases designed by architecture team. •Database backup and restore is one of the primary responsibilities and RMAN experience is a plus. •Database installation, configuration, tuning, patching, security configuration, purge logs, execute scripts for data load and increase table space as required. •Review description of new database requests or changes to existing databases to understand and determine location, and amount of space. Establishes physical database parameters. Calculates optimum values for database parameters such as amount of computer memory to be used by databases. Specifies database access levels for users. •Codes database descriptions and specify identifiers of database or database management system. Directs programmers and analysts to make changes to database management system. Reviews and corrects programs. •Tests, and corrects errors to databases. Work with outside vendors to resolve database problems, take ownership and resolve to completion. •Trains and answers user questions. Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems in a production environment. •Responsible to resolve problems assigned per help desk queues. •Tunes database programs to increase processing performance. Run statistics and indexing as required. •Monitor databases for operational availability and performance.
