*Qualifications:*ODE designs, builds, and supports Windows Server-based
middleware applications and systems to provide real-time operational data
and events on flights, passengers, crews, baggage, and more to Delta Air
Lines' airport automation systems, management teams, and control centers 24
hours a day, seven days a week. Applications are integrated to present a
unified “Enterprise View” of operational data from multiple disparate
systems (both internal and external). ODE Enterprise Data Stores can be
queried to provide on-demand operational data and include both current and
historical scope. This position will initially focus on runtime support
with the potential to move into application development. Looking for
candidates with good analytical skills, TIBCO BE, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BW,
TIBCO RV, MS Windows, experience with DOS Batch Files and/or Powershell
scripts. Experience with building long-running, distributed, fault-tolerant
backend systems, XML, XSD, XSLT, and SQL and Oracle would be a plus.

Tibco Developer with experience developing in Tibco’s Business Events
tool. The successful developer will have knowledge of the full lifecycle:
analysis, design, development, production and implementation.
*Essential Responsibilities:*
• Understand business requirements in order to provide the technical design
of computer software.
• Possess programming expertise in standard programming languages in order
to develop and maintain computer software.
• Develop appropriate software and documentation according to Delta's
standards.
• Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing
performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all
problems.
• Follow standards and methodologies in the development and implementation
of computer software.
*May perform other duties as assigned.
*Skills:*• Knowledge of BusinessWorks and EMS (Enterprise Message Service)
• Strong Java background
• Database experience; Oracle and MySQL
Basic Entry Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
with (one) 1 to four (4) years or any equivalent combination of experience,
education, and/or training in the computer systems development field.
Previous airline experience ideal.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Experience building computer software within the Airline business a plus.
