We are in search for a Database Developer with high level Datastage
experience. Preferably experience would also be with multiple SQL Databases
including DB2 for one of our great clients here in Las Vegas, NV. Ideally,
the client would like a minimum of 5 years overall experience bringing
excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills, people and client
management skills and a true passion about database development. This would
be an anticipated 6 month contract opportunity with the option to hire at
the end of the contract.
The ideal candidate will bring all of the required experience along with
some preferred as listed below. If you are the right candidate for the
position, you could be joining an existing team of senior database
developers that are instrumental in developing for business applications,
integration, web applications and data warehousing.

*REQUIRED experience:*
- Experience with data warehouse initiatives
- Experience with IBM ETL tools or equivalent
- Experience with logical and physical data models
- ETL, Hardware, and software product recommendations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server functions
* Transact-SQL
* DTS
* Stored Procedures
* Query Optimization
* ODBC / OLEDB
- Relational Database Design
- Basic understanding of financial and marketing use of data
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Experience and ability to perform thorough unit and system testing of
developed materials
*PREFERRED experience:*
- SSIS
- Experience with IBM Information Server
- Datastage
- Quality Stage
- Experience with IBM Master Data Management Server
- Rational Software Architect
- Strong problem-solving and Meta data skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and
oral forms.
- Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business
contacts.
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
