*We need a QA Tester-Financial*
Location: *Fort Lee, NJ*
Duration: *4+ Months*
*Job Duties: Required Qualifications:*
*BS/MS degree or equivalent *
3+ years of combined experience in application development, project
management, or quality testing
Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience testing web- based software
products
1-2+ years of experience in database testing, like validating data in
database migration between the source and target, query the DB to validate
the data migration
Any Content Management System (like MS Workbench, Drupal) experience
Strong manual testing background with particular emphasis in Database
testing
Experience with any of the automation tools like QTP or RFT or any open
source tool
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong process skills knowledge of software development lifecycle
*Preferred/Desired Qualifications: *
Intermediate to advanced skills in writing test scripts using automated
testing tools such as HP tools (Win Runner and QuickTest Pro) or Rational or
any Open source tools
Understanding of Financial Markets: equities, fixed income, derivatives, and
commodities
Experience in managing software testing in an Agile (Scrum) development
environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with the project team to produce a high quality release
Working with other members of the test team to facilitate end-to-end testing
Working with development partners
Developing plans for and participating in user acceptance testing
Providing status reports to management
Reviewing requirements, business and system use cases, technical
specifications and other project documentation
Writing test cases to verify requirements
Providing test estimates
Writing and maintaining regression test cases
Writing test plans
Recording details of test executions
Manual execution of test scripts
Writing and tracking defects and verifying defect resolution
