Please Reply me on Matt@panzersolutions .com Position:Business Analyst Location: Dublin Ohio Duration: 6+months Interview process: Phone then a face to face Description: We have a contract need in Columbus, Ohio for a Senior Business Analyst to help our client gather and document project business requirements, assist in clarification for design efforts, and assist with project estimates. This BA will participate in test planning and execution, document UAT scripts and conduct UAT, document training materials for end users, and conduct training sessions for end users. In this role, the Sr. BA will be responsible for activities such as requirements gathering, process documentation/design, conceptual design, test planning, testing, documentation, training and deployment of customer facing system solutions. Tasks/responsibilities include: • Lead workshops, hold interviews and other ancillary methods to elicit requirements. • Document and refine business requirements. • Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise. • Completes all IT-related documents as needed for systems based on business requirements, end user needs, application functionality and desired objectives. • Performs analysis and problem solving activities. • Assists in estimating tasks and the preparation of project plans. • Understands and follows the software development methodology (modified waterfall) and various IT processes. • Draws on best practices and comprehensive technical knowledge to advise clients in own area of expertise. • Recommends methods for improved work processes, detailing the process's strengths and answering clients' questions to gain group consensus. Tracks internal trends and suggests process improvements based on observations. • Measures performance of the newly implemented solution against desired results and makes basic improvements; demonstrates a strong sense of ownership for outcomes. • Questions current methods, while evaluating broad implications, to develop practical improvements. Focuses on achieving goals rather than a fear of failure. • Approaches issues from multiple perspectives and collaborates with clients in generating creative, effective and practical solutions. • Applies understanding of technical/system concepts within technical area to assist with design review of solutions. • Demonstrates understanding of key business drivers. • Other duties as assigned.
