Description: As a Business Systems Integration Analyst, this position will help drive project activities to meet the needs of internal Legal customers. A qualified candidate should be an experienced, generalist IT business analyst. You must have the ability and interest to work on a range of different types of projects and business processes, and must have a background that demonstrates this ability. More experienced candidates should have a track record of having worked on implementing both 3rd-party software solutions and custom built solutions. This position will work with legal subject matter experts to document business requirements, which will include both the actual business requirement authoring as well as overseeing business requirement writing by the others. This consultant will be accountable for the accuracy and completeness of business requirements deliverables, as well as the baseline acceptance of design documents by all project stakeholders. He/she should also have working knowledge with reporting tools, with experience in COGNOS highly desirable. Skills/Experience: Bachelors Degree Minimum of 7 years of Business Analyst or related system analysis and development experience 2 years working in a government agency that performs regulatory function Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between the business (preferably legal) unit and development team to relate business related matter to technical issues. Technical capability minimum of 4 year of experience and a working knowledge client server, desktop and/or web technologies Demonstrated skill in requirements elicitation, analysis and validation Knowledge of case management and document management systems for legal practices Demonstrated skill in assessing existing processes (preferably legal) and knowledge of how to automate these processes Strong verbal and written communication 2 years working in support of Legal Systems/Legal Organizations Demonstrated experience problem solving and consensus building Thanks for your time!
