The current technology platform is fragmented, limited in terms of functionality, limited in terms of integration with IB lines of business and in many instances based on Excel or Access. A multi-year effort has been launched to define and implement a global target state infrastructure that will address these limitations, thereby providing improved automation and yielding considerable efficiencies across all IB Finance processes. As part of this effort, the Reporting Hub project was launched to provide management reporting on top of a new FinanceODS unified daily general ledger and sub-ledger. *Role Description *A developer with extensive experience in the full Cognos 8 suite including the TM1 cube environment to be a part of the development team delivering Reporting & Planning solutions for the Investment Banking Finance community. The role offers an excellent opportunity to participate in a transformational initiative which will have a measurable bottom line impact on the firm. Furthermore, the role will allow the candidate to build a detailed understanding of the workings of the Investment Bank's Finance organization, to shape the target state finance business processes and to design a solution which implements them efficiently and reliably. *Specific responsibilities include: * Partner with the internal architecture team to design and deliver reports on the Cognos 8 platform. Develop defined reports and underlying data structures on the Cognos 8 platform Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews with team Collaborate with other developers (potentially onshore and offshore) to establish the technical vision and ensure that the system is built according to the business need.
