Position: IT Project Manager / Configuration Manager Location: Irving, TX area. Duration: 3-6 months Prefer Locals Rate: 50-55$/hr This position will support the People and Premises Team managing the IT technical offerings of the Workplace Resources organization. This includes the technical leadership role for the N-SCOPE and STEER application as well as the point-of-contact from WR interfaces to other corporate systems . This person will work with the product team to deliver high quality, agile solutions for the WR organization. This person will also serve as the SME to the production support team for web related technologies and issues. Main Responsibility Areas: Strategies and standards, Stakeholder management to WR technical teams, Portfolio and road mapping, Supplier relationship management, Transitions, Delivery. Development processes, License management, Documentation Individual Portfolio: Typically, 8 - 12 years of relevant experience. Development experience in web technologies. Candidate should have a good understanding of experience with Apache Web Server management, JBOSS, Oracle & Unix shell experience and able to do minor Java coding. Broad understanding of sourcing processes and IT hardware life cycle management, and mobile and office work. Knowledge about key vendors and channels, markets, as well as Nokia IT product offering and sourcing strategy. Competencies: University degree in computer science, engineering or relevant skills related subject that lays a solid foundation in IT Hardware Life Cycle Management. Strong communicator at all levels and with both business and technology teams. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation skills. Good knowledge of environmental requirements.
