*Location : GA-Georgia/Peachtree City* *Duration : 16+ Months MOI* *: Phone Then Skype* *Job Description* *PHP Developer/Linux Administrator* What client really need at this point is someone who with more Linux system administration and configuration experience, including some CGI scripting using PHP. They will be developing applications that allow remote management of lighting fixtures. Sr PHP Developer with Linux and heavy DB skills. They need to be able to set up server for php development. This is a new project so they will need to know how to do everything not just part of a team. For example, Config php on server, plus extensions plus filling out all end point services *Specifically, the required skills are:* •Install, administer, and maintain Linux for embedded infrastructure •Troubleshoot Linux platforms, networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct operational problem •Server and infrastructure security and hardening experience •Demonstrable shell (BASH) scripting •In-depth command-line knowledge of Linux network services and their configuration (SSH, uDNS, DNS, NFS, etc.) •Apache, lighttpd configuration experience. •Create appropriate documentation of procedures and workflows used internally and externally with clients •Basic Network administration (firewalls, VPN, VLAN) •Database knowledge (MySQL, SQLite) •Scripting languages (Python, PHP, SQL) •Email Administration experience is a plus (postfix mailserver) •Experience with embedded servers such as beaglebone, Raspberry Pi, ODroid •Desirable skills include: •C++, C, C# •Cross compilers for arm and mips •Kernel development or board support package development •Lua •Android development •Php (repeated from above, but required) •uboot and tftp •A person with this skill set should be able to generate any PHP scripting required for this project. *PHP:* We would like someone who has REAL experience doing: •Implementing PHP scripts to handle RESTful Web Service requests to a standard web server on a Linux system (e.g. Apache, lighttpd). •Within the PHP script, access a SQL type database (e.g. SQLite, MySQL) to acquire response data •Within the PHP script, generate JSON encoded responses for the Web Service requests •Within the PHP script, communicate with other applications using a Linux socket interface to access application data for some responses -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
