Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: Three to five years related experience required.
• Additional skills required: General – High degree of professional poise,
great sense of humor and personal integrity. Demonstrated ability to
effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and work with a small
team. Take responsibility and demonstrate ownership of projects, tasks, and
issues. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, organization
skills, and analytical abilities. Ability to work with all levels of
personnel. Manage heavy workloads and meet deadlines. Understanding of IT
fundamentals and project methodology. Understanding of system integration
concepts and methodology. Understanding of virtual computing concepts and
practices. Understand and implement corporate security standards that
comply with enterprise audit security policies. Expertise in practical
application of methods used for systems analysis and design. Ability to
apply a critical thinking process to achieve a positive outcome.
Demonstrated detailed knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity
and Highly Available systems. Willing to work non-standard and extended
hours.
Oracle 11G – Thorough knowledge of current Oracle releases including:
1.* PostgreSQL experience a must*
2. Oracle Enterprise Manager
3. Structured Query Language (SQL) including DDL
4. SQL*Net Configuration
5. Recovery Manager (RMAN)
6. PL/SQL, SQL*Plus
7. Archive logging
8. Oracle system catalog and database schema objects
9. Oracle troubleshooting and tuning
• Additional skills preferred: General – Technical knowledge of computer
systems security. General knowledge of disk technology. General knowledge
of application/database architectures. Familiarity with health care
systems software needs and requirements. Knowledge of ITIL, PCI, HIPPA and
other Healthcare related computing standards. Knowledge of complex industry
licensing requirements, ACS experience would be a plus. Working knowledge
of disaster recovery plan and procedures would be a plus as well.
