Length: 1 YEAR Rate: 50/hr Pharma industry experience will be considered first… Database Administrator - Ability to configure database software, develop and implement a physical database design, create tables, indexes, business rules, security authorizations, manage existing databases, capacity planning, upgrades, backup/recovery, pe *Responsibilities:* -Logical Data Modeling and *Physical Data Modeling for Oracle dbs using Erwin* -Modeling using both normalized design and star schema / snowflake schema design -Analysis of Source system screens and derivation of Reporting wire frames. -Work with business and technical analysts to create relevant subject areas and views of a large data model (Gencord DSS) to help them in their analysis tasks. -Make modifications/enhancements to existing large data model (Gencord DSS) to transform it into the new Align DSS. -Make modifications to other smaller DSS models (MATRIX, MCCDSS, Govt Rptng, Vioxx Repository) -Create data dictionary documenting all entities and attributes of the data models. -Help dba and technical analysts with determination of appropriate indexing, partitioning etc. -Create documentation on the model/database including appropriate join strategies etc for use by etl and report developers. -Aid Cognos developers with design of Cognos models Regards Vikram Reddy.A Nihaki Systems Inc O: 732-823-6471 Ext:110 | F: 732-438-6973 r...@nihaki.com I www.nihaki.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
