Need SAS Admin (Grid) || Buffalo, NY || 6 Months *Job Title: SAS Admin* *Location: Buffalo, NY* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job description:* · Experienced SAS Platform / Grid Administrator · Experience administering SAS platform in a multi-node grid environment. · Experience creating metadata users and groups · Experience creating metadata libraries and folders · Experience designing, architecting and implementing a metadata security scheme to work with Linux OS security. · Experience with active directory authentication · Experience creating libraries to both Teradata and MS Sql Server. · Experience with SAS model manager · Experience starting and stopping all SAS servers · Experience reading through SAS logs to work through problems finding root causes and rectifying. · Interfacing with SAS technical is a must. · Experience defining and architecting best practices pertaining to SAS · Experience monitoring grid and make sure that nodes are balanced with SAS generated code running efficiently across grid · Ability to work with SAS software to help users when they encounter problems. · Enterprise miner · Foundation · Enterprise guide · Addin for MS Office · Working knowledge of LSF as it pertains to the SAS grid. · Ability to make changes to SAS environment such as modifying SAS code, configuration files and writing automation scripts. · Ability to install hot fixes, service packs, upgrades as well as add-on software components. · Knowledge and consultative approach to model deployment methodology. · Working knowledge of following non-SAS applications *Skills:* Windows desktop OS's, LINUX , IBM GPFS, LSF *Soft Skills :* 1. Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment. 2. Ability to be part of a team and collaborate with various individuals within the organization 3. Excellent communication skills 4.
